Our work culture is intense and isn’t for everyone. While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year. Team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually; attendance is expected and fully supported.

This is a 12-week internship during summer 2026. Coinbase is seeking interns & co-ops to join teams building new features and improving existing products (Coinbase.com, Custody, Wallet, NFTs, etc.) and contributing to APAC expansion initiatives. Interns will solve large-scale, highly complex technical problems and help build systems to make cryptocurrency accessible across web, iOS, and Android platforms, operating real-time applications with high frequency, low latency updates, protecting the platform from fraud, and managing secure, dockerized cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers, designers, product managers and senior leadership to turn product and technical vision into a tangible quarterly roadmap
• Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet customer needs
• Solve unique, large-scale, highly complex technical problems
• Contribute to web, iOS, and Android products and infrastructure; collaborate on high-frequency real-time systems and fraud/prevention efforts

Requirements

• Experience in any object-oriented programming language (in a class, for fun, or at a job)
• Enjoy thinking about how people interact with products and building experiences that users love
• Self-motivated and committed to personal growth
• Approach problems with positive energy

Nice to haves

• Currently pursuing a degree or certificate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or a related discipline
• Experience with: Golang, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, Postgres, Ruby, Rails
• Experience developing React Native mobile apps

Pay Transparency Notice

The target annual salary for this position can range as detailed below. Full-time offers from Coinbase also include bonus eligibility and benefits (including medical, dental, and vision).

Pay Range:

$25—$25 SGD
