The Platform Product Group engineers build a trusted, scalable, and compliant platform critical to Coinbase's operations. The Core Automation Team focuses on AI infrastructure and automation to enhance productivity and customer impact, leveraging state-of-the-art AI models, diverse data including blockchain data.

Responsibilities

• Explore and apply advanced GenAI techniques, including large language models (LLMs) and Agentic AI.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Write high-quality, well-tested Python and Golang code.
• Build scalable, secure systems using modern cloud technologies and industry best practices.
• Debug complex technical issues to improve system reliability and scalability.
• Review security, scalability, and architecture of feature designs.
• Build pipelines integrating third-party vendors and streamline workflows.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven expertise designing, building, scaling, and maintaining production micro-services.
• Ability to write high-quality, customer-focused, well-tested code.
• Deep understanding of quality code and software engineering processes.
• Strong technical skills in system design and coding.
• Passion for building an open financial system.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, favoring open and transparent culture.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with rapid company growth environments.
• Familiarity with GenAI frameworks/tools, Python, Golang, Docker, Postgres, MongoDB.
• Background in AI/LLM infrastructure.
