Our QoS (Quality of Service) team is responsible for ensuring that clients experience the best VPN service possible. The team includes Data Analysts and Project Managers to measure and drive improvements.
Responsibilities
- Directly manage a team of 4 Python developers, ensuring fast and high-quality delivery.
- Mentor team members and conduct regular one-on-one meetings to support professional growth and alignment.
- Act as the primary technical point of contact between the Python team, Project Managers, and Product Owners.
- Translate business requirements into actionable technical tasks and delivery plans.
- Collaborate with team members to create delivery plans, set deadlines, and drive accountability to meet milestones without compromising quality.
- Oversee and maintain high standards in code quality through best practices, code reviews, and structured feedback.
- Encourage creative problem-solving, ownership of tasks, and continuous improvement across the team.
Requirements
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with a team-first mindset.
- Fluent written and verbal English skills.
- Experience managing or leading technical teams, particularly in back-end Python development.
- Advanced Python development knowledge and best practices.
- Deep understanding of REST API development and experience with Python frameworks such as Django or FastAPI.
- Knowledge of database design and integrations (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Jenkins) to support team workflows.
- Understanding of Linux operating systems for navigating environments and troubleshooting.
- Results-oriented approach with strong organizational and planning skills to balance team workload and deadlines.
- Comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Bonus points
- Proven ability to implement large-scale, distributed solutions effectively.
- Experience with asynchronous task processing tools like Celery or Airflow.
- Experience deploying and optimizing CDN/WAF solutions or application infrastructures.
- Knowledge of distributed messaging systems like Redis, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
- Proficiency in web scraping or integration of external solutions.

- Workplace type: hybrid; locations include Vilnius and Kaunas, Lithuania.
Benefits
- Salary range (reported): Gross 5500–7500 EUR / Month (gross).
