The Ads Reporting team provides critical insights and foundational data for advertisers on Reddit. The team manages two complementary workstreams: Reporting Foundations (reliability, scalability, data correctness, monitoring, and robust data pipelines) and Proactive Reporting (actionable recommendations and deeper insights delivered via Ads Manager). As an Engineering Manager, you will lead both workstreams, shaping the future of the Reddit Ads platform.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and grow a team of full stack product and backend engineers
- Collaborate with product management and design to discover and build new ways to communicate Reddit’s value to advertisers and users
- Maintain and enhance a culture of fast iteration, experimentation, and collaboration
- Ensure long-term product success and the growth of team members
- Own the full development cycle: product ideation, design, development, QA, experimentation, analysis, and launch
- Review and provide feedback on design docs, product specs, and mocks
- Collaborate with multiple teams across the Ads organization to maintain and increase advertisers’ trust and success on the platform
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, Applied Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Engineering leadership experience working across multiple teams
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering; experience developing large scale customer-facing reporting solutions is highly desirable
- Experience coordinating large-scale, cross-functional efforts and driving alignment across teams
- Experience working with product & design teams
- Knowledge of full stack product development practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on advertiser platforms or related B2B reporting products
- Familiarity with the team’s tech stack: Python, golang, React, Airflow, Druid

Compensation
- Base pay range for this position: $217,000 - $303,900 USD
- This role may be eligible to receive equity (RSUs) and, depending on the position, commission
