As a member of Collibra’s Professional Services team, you will collaborate with clients to understand their data quality challenges and provide actionable recommendations for developing or refining a robust Data Quality Strategy. The role focuses on improving client data quality through profiling, analysis, and long-term monitoring using Collibra products, and partnering with clients to create sustainable solutions for their data quality needs. This is a hybrid role based in Collibra’s Raleigh office; you are expected to work from the office at least two days each week. Note: this role supports the US government and requires the candidate to be a US citizen who resides on US soil. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Partner with clients to understand data quality challenges and needs.
- Conduct interviews with client stakeholders from both Business and IT to uncover current data quality issues and identify emerging trends.
- Define current and future states for the Data Quality vision.
- Lead efforts to improve client data quality through profiling, analysis, and long-term monitoring of their data.
- Profile datasets to identify data quality issues and challenges.
- Ensure service delivery aligns with Collibra’s Engagement Model, Processes, Methodologies, and Artifacts.
- Achieve utilization targets and contribute to the growth of Collibra’s services business.
- Lead blueprinting, design workshops, and requirements gathering activities.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of relevant industry consulting experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with cloud platforms, network-based API integration (REST/JSON), and deployment automation.
- Experience with Java or Python for custom software implementations in Enterprise Linux or Unix environments.
- Hands-on experience with Data Quality, Data Pipelines, Data Orchestration, or Job Control tools.
- Knowledgeable of data management processes including data governance, data stewardship, master data management, data cataloging, data warehousing, ETL, data integration, and business rules management.
- Proficient with big data technologies such as Kubernetes, Spark, and Hadoop.
- Familiar with enterprise security solutions such as LDAP or Kerberos.
- Strong skills in developing functional specifications, technical specifications, and test specifications.
- Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and business requirements.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
Measures of success
- Month 1: Onboard with product offerings, receive product training, and gain familiarity with the services portfolio.
- Month 2: Learn Collibra's solutions delivery methodology and processes.
- Month 3: Begin engaging in the delivery of Collibra solutions to clients.
Compensation
- Standard base salary range: $104,000 - $130,000 per year.
- Eligible for additional commission-based compensation, equity ownership, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401(k) plans, and more.
