As a Solution Architect within Rabobank's Digital Platform Foundation team, you will lead the evolution of our Cerebro DevOps automation solution. This role is pivotal in enhancing the development experience for engineers in 150+ teams using Rabobank Online Platform, enabling them to efficiently deliver features that benefit our 7 million customers across digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Design and Architecture: Create and communicate comprehensive end-to-end designs and solutions with squads, architects, product owners, and business stakeholders.
• Squad Mentorship and Support: Coach engineering teams in implementing architectural solutions, addressing challenges throughout the DevOps cycle.
• Technical Evangelism: Serve as the technical advocate for Cerebro, guiding adoption across Rabobank and other parts of the organization.
• Strategic Roadmap Development: Set the strategic direction for Cerebro, aligning with business goals and industry trends.
• Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with product owners, squads, and other architects to drive innovation and improve our digital platform's efficiency and quality.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 7 years of relevant IT DevOps experience, including at least 3 years in Solution Architecture within a complex environment.
• Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining distributed and complex systems.
• Experience with backends for frontends and hands-on experience as a Java/Kotlin engineer.
• Frontend Engineering experience is a preference.
• Demonstrated ability to apply architecture methods and techniques effectively.
• Community Building: Experience in fostering collaboration and building strong technical communities.
• Visionary Leadership: Ability to oversee a broad domain, considering the impact of design decisions while staying hands-on in complex problem-solving.
• Communication Excellence: Clear communication skills to translate technical insights into business value.
