About the team
The Solutions Architecture (SA) team is responsible for ensuring the safe and effective deployment of Generative AI applications for developers and enterprises. The team acts as a trusted advisor and thought partner for customers, building an effective backlog of GenAI use cases for their industry and driving them to production through strong technical guidance. As the leader of Solutions Architects in the Digital Native segment, you will help technology and software companies transform their business through solutions such as customer service, automated content generation, and novel applications that make use of the newest models.
About the role
You will ensure the technical success of the most strategic technology and software customers in the Americas. In this role, you will manage the entire implementation journey, ensuring seamless platform integration and aligning technical teams to deliver a consistent experience throughout the customer lifecycle. Success is measured by live production applications, increased API adoption, and impactful customer stories that demonstrate our technology's value.
This role is based in the San Francisco office and follows a hybrid model (3 days in office per week). Relocation assistance is offered to new employees.
Responsibilities
- Own the strategy and operating model of the Digital Native SA team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and customer needs.
- Lead, build, and mentor a team of Solutions Architects to deliver exceptional customer outcomes, demonstrated by production customer applications and increased API adoption.
- Serve as the technical advocate for customers, synthesizing their needs to inform Research and Applied Product/Engineering roadmaps.
- Act as the primary technical escalation point during development, maintaining direct communication with executive-level stakeholders and fostering trust.
- Serve as an industry thought leader, championing the safe and innovative application of the technology across sectors.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role, managing C-level technical and business relationships with complex global organizations.
- 2+ years of experience leading technical post-sales teams, with demonstrated ability to hire, develop, and manage technical teams.
- Experience leading complex implementations of Generative AI and/or traditional ML solutions.
- Knowledge of network and cloud architecture.
- Industry experience with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Strong communication skills, able to translate business and technical topics for all audiences and mentor others to do the same.
- Humble attitude, eagerness to help others, and a desire to learn missing knowledge to help the team and customers succeed.
