Responsibilities

  • Understand customers' pain points and objectives; build implementation and onboarding plans to demonstrate business value
  • Develop best practices, educational content, and "how-to" materials for error/performance management and the Sentry product
  • Act as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert to assist with software engineering and monitoring best practices
  • Provide workshop-level customer interaction to drive adoption and maturity of use
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to provide feedback to product and development teams, aligning product roadmap with time-to-value improvements

Requirements

  • 3+ years experience as a Solutions/Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, or Software Developer with successful customer interactions
  • Hands-on expertise with multiple programming languages and frameworks including JavaScript frameworks, backend (Python, Node.js, Java), and mobile platforms (React Native, iOS, Android)
  • Deep knowledge of software development lifecycle and common developer challenges
  • Strong domain expertise in observability, APM, RUM, and tracing
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Problem solver with a proactive mindset
