This role is for a Solutions Architect on the Packaged Services team, responsible for driving customer onboarding, delivering packaged services, providing hands-on implementation support, and helping customers realize value quickly from Grafana and related observability technologies. The role combines hands-on technical implementation (command line, configuration, deployment) with customer engagement, training, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provision licenses for new customers
• Directly implement Grafana products during customer onboarding
• Collaborate with Sales, SEs, and Observability Architects to ensure smooth knowledge transfer from pre- to post-sales
• Teach training sessions using standard content and customized or engagement-specific material when needed
• Collaborate with Customer Experience strategy teams to create and manage onboarding documentation, videos, and presentation material
• Document and share customer success and intervention stories
• Maintain professionalism, empathy, and technical/business acumen across multiple customers
• Provide deep observability expertise to implement, train, and troubleshoot with customers
• Diagnose customer problems, map solutions to gaps, and outline the value of proposed solutions
• Enhance customer documentation and create internal enablement material
• Translate business and technical requirements into solution designs, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise-scale architecture
• Advocate for standards and best practices and iterate quickly to accelerate solution delivery
• Act as a resource for Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working on deployment teams, using project management techniques
• Exposure to the observability (o11y) stack: visualization, alerting, metrics, logs, traces
• Proven track record of successful delivery of customer projects, preferably enterprise observability implementations
• Self-starter mentality; able to pick up new skills and technologies
• Excellent communication skills for customers, partners, and internal stakeholders
• Kubernetes experience
• Linux system administration experience
• Comfortable working in the command line and staying hands-on
• Strong project management skills to track and manage customer initiatives

Compensation

• In the United States, the base compensation range for this role is $144,000 - $173,000 per year. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset. All roles include Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
