Responsibilities

  • Partner with business/account teams and customers to understand goals, strategies, and technical needs, and help define and deliver high-value solutions.
  • Stay up to date on state-of-the-art production deep learning and machine learning methods.
  • Architect and scale high-performance, distributed AI deployments built on NVIDIA GPU supercomputers.
  • Build proof-of-concept demonstrations and scale AI deployments for customers.
  • Document knowledge and teach others: build targeted training, write whitepapers, blogs, wiki articles, and collaborate with customers to solve hard problems.
  • Act as an industry leader with vision on integrating NVIDIA technology into AI and HPC architectures for advanced applications (e.g., medical imaging, drug discovery).
  • Strategically partner with lighthouse customers and industry-specific solution partners targeting NVIDIA’s computing platform.
  • Use conferencing tools extensively and travel as required to support customers.

Requirements

  • MS or PhD (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Computational Biology, Computational Chemistry, Computational Physics, Chemical Engineering, Biophysics, or a related field with strong applied experience.
  • 5+ years of work-related experience in software development of deep learning or GPU acceleration methods for scientific applications.
  • 3+ years of work-related experience with deep learning software architecture and frameworks or high-performance computing applications.
  • Proficiency with the Linux/GNU toolchain and experience as a user in HPC cluster environments.
  • Full-stack scientific computing experience including software development in scientific programming languages such as Python, C/C++, and/or CUDA.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in presenting highly technical material; comfortable interacting with forward-thinking people and staying at the forefront of the domain.

Ways to stand out

  • Demonstrated work in training and inference at scale and expertise in accelerated computing with GPU.
  • Cloud platform expertise on AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
  • Experience with genomics, virtual cells, or molecular dynamics (a plus).
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or working with customers/partners in the pharmaceutical domain (a plus).
  • Published record of thought leadership in a technical area or industry segment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary ranges: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD for Level 3; 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD for Level 4. Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
