  • Build customer trust and deeply understand their networking requirements.
  • Run technical meetings such as project evaluations, feature discussions, debugging sessions, and workshops.
  • Optimize host networking and performance by analyzing bottlenecks (CPU, PCIe, memory, NUMA) and develop PoC solutions for critical business needs.
  • Lead presales and architecture activities with customers and implement innovative networking solutions, including Spectrum switch, ConnectX network adapter, and Bluefield DPU.

Requirements

  • BS/MS/PhD in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or other engineering fields, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years in Solution Engineering or similar roles.
  • Proven background in data center and cloud provider network architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with NIC hardware and software stacks, including configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in networking fundamentals (NICs, switching, protocols) in modern data centers.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of computer system architecture, Linux, PCIe devices, and networking management protocols.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively as a trusted advisor.

Ways to stand out

  • Practical experience with NICs, DPUs, and Ethernet switches.
  • Knowledge of system and board-level development trade-offs for high-performance NIC integration (thermal, power, signal integrity, BMC, BIOS integration).
  • Experience working with Cloud Service Providers and in-depth knowledge of RDMA, collectives, and AI benchmarking.
  • Background with NVIDIA hardware/software is highly valued.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD (determined based on location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
  • Eligible for equity and benefits (see company benefits information).
