The Financial Services Solution Architect team is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect to work with Quants and Data Scientists in the finance industry to accelerate High-Performance Computing (HPC) and AI workloads using NVIDIA technology. The role focuses on engaging banking and consumer finance customers, delivering proof-of-concepts, profiling and optimizing ML/DL models for GPU architectures, and producing collateral (notebooks, blogs) for finance use-cases.
Responsibilities
- Partner with NVIDIA Engineering, Product, and Sales teams to secure design wins and enable product feature development through customer feedback and proof-of-concept evaluations.
- Perform proof-of-concepts and work side-by-side with clients, engineers, and other architects on in-depth analysis, profiling, and optimization of machine learning / deep learning models to ensure strong performance on current- and next-generation GPU architectures.
- Work directly with client ML researchers and engineers on business-impacting workflows, projects, and issues to drive success using NVIDIA technology.
- Facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues and promote high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Build collateral (notebooks, blog posts, example code) applied to finance industry use-cases such as ML/DL, recommender systems, graph neural networks (GNN), Monte-Carlo simulations, and quantitative finance models.
Requirements
- BS / MS / PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or other engineering fields (or equivalent experience).
- 12+ years of experience as an ML / Software Engineer with a proven track record coding in Python and C++.
- Hands-on experience with ML/DL algorithms and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Jax, PyTorch, Spark, and Dask.
- Experience profiling and optimizing ML/DL models for GPU-accelerated architectures.
- Ability to communicate ideas and share code clearly (blogs, GitHub) and strong technical presentation skills.
- Ability to work across multiple teams and stakeholders (engineering/research, product, sales, marketing).
- Self-starter attitude, enthusiasm for continuous learning, and willingness to share findings across the team.
Preferred / Ways To Stand Out
- Experience building and deploying banking and payments modeling techniques (time-series, Transformers, GraphNNs, XGBoost, recommender systems, etc.).
- Familiarity with NLP generative and agentic AI models, frameworks, and applications.
- Skilled in deploying ML/DL models at scale on on-prem or public cloud computing clusters in production.
- Development experience with NVIDIA software libraries and GPUs.
- Knowledge of MLOps technologies and practices (Docker/containers, Kubernetes, data center deployments) and experience working with enterprise developers building AI, HPC, or data analytics applications.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: 224,000 USD - 356,500 USD (will be determined based on location, experience, and comparable pay).
