NVIDIA is seeking a Solutions Architect to drive innovation with healthcare and life sciences customers across North America, focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and agentic workflows. You will partner with pharmaceutical companies, healthcare providers, medical device manufacturers, and health tech startups to design, implement, and optimize GPU-accelerated AI systems for clinical decision support, medical research, patient engagement, and other healthcare applications. The role involves technical leadership, customer engagement, proof-of-concept development, and knowledge-sharing across technical and non-technical audiences.
Responsibilities
- Guide customers through end-to-end AI adoption: requirements gathering, proof-of-concept development, deployment, integration, and ongoing optimization.
- Design, develop, and optimize solutions tailored for healthcare and life sciences (AI scientist, autonomous lab, intelligent diagnostic tools, clinical agents).
- Architect and implement generative AI workflows: synthetic data generation for biological modalities, domain-adapted pretraining of foundation LLMs, fine-tuning reasoning models, and orchestration of multi-agent LLM systems on NVIDIA GPU-accelerated platforms.
- Deploy and scale agentic AI solutions in cloud environments and on accelerated infrastructure.
- Keep up to date on AI advancements in healthcare, including multi-modal biology models, virtual cell platforms, and clinical prediction models for patient identification and precision medicine.
- Develop proof-of-concept demonstrations showcasing NVIDIA technology for healthcare innovations.
- Engage with healthcare executives, IT managers, data scientists, clinicians, and developers to promote adoption of AI-powered healthcare applications.
- Share findings via training sessions, whitepapers, blog posts, and presentations.
- Travel as required for on-site customer engagements.
Requirements
- MS, PhD, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or related fields.
- 5+ years of experience in software development related to AI/ML in healthcare or life sciences.
- Deep experience with end-to-end generative AI solutions, including data ingestion, preprocessing, model training, agentic tool development, pipeline deployment, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python and AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch; experience with LangChain or building custom frameworks is expected).
- Experience deploying and scaling agentic AI solutions in cloud environments (examples: AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI).
- Strong communication skills; ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Ways to Stand Out
- Experience building, deploying, and optimizing agentic AI systems specifically for healthcare and life sciences.
- Understanding of basic biomedical concepts and modalities (sequence, structure, function, clinical phenotypes).
- Familiarity with AI deployment/inference technologies such as TensorRT and TRT-LLM.
- Established thought leadership (publications or presentations) on AI/ML applications in healthcare and life science.
- Experience collaborating with pharma, techbio, and healthcare providers; passion for improving patient outcomes through innovative solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges by level: Level 3: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD; Level 4: 184,000 USD - 287,500 USD. Final base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and comparator pay.
- Eligible for equity and benefits as described by NVIDIA.
Other Details
- Location: US and Canada; remote option listed. Some travel for on-site customer engagements may be required.
- Application window: accepted at least until October 17, 2025.
- NVIDIA is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
