NVIDIA is seeking outstanding Solutions Architects to assist and support the Higher Education and Research Team and the NVIDIA AI Technical Community (NVAITC) within the Pittsburgh ecosystem. You will become a trusted technical advisor to customers and work on projects focused on HPC and AI, collaborating with scientific researchers and developers at universities and research institutions on Simulation, Robotics AI and Generative AI. This role supports adoption and optimization of NVIDIA accelerated computing and deep learning platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Support the NVAITC in Pittsburgh and universities in the Central US by helping them adopt and build solutions using NVIDIA technology through collaboration with academia, industry, and government.
  • Partner with other solution architects, engineering, product and business teams to understand strategies, workflows and technical needs.
  • Engage dynamically with developers, scientific researchers, and data scientists to define solutions for Robotics, Physical AI and Generative AI.
  • Analyze performance and optimize development of AI and foundation models.
  • Travel as required to support customers and research partners; determine the best ways to ensure customer success.

Requirements

  • BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, other Engineering or related fields (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Generative AI, Deep Learning, Robotics and/or Simulation.
  • Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow and with Reinforcement Learning.
  • Strong fundamentals in programming, problem-solving and debugging skills, especially in Python and C++.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and collaboration skills.

Ways To Stand Out / Nice to Have

  • Experience working with the academic research community supporting HPC or AI.
  • Development experience with NVIDIA software libraries and GPUs.
  • Familiarity with NVIDIA Omniverse, Cosmos, Isaac Sim, or Isaac Lab.
  • Prior experience with deep learning training at scale, deployment or production optimization.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary range: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD (determined based on location, experience, and comparable employees).
  • Eligible for equity and company benefits (see NVIDIA benefits).
