Grafana Labs is a remote-first, open-source powerhouse used by more than 20M users worldwide to monitor metrics, logs, and traces. The Commercial Solutions Engineering team are in-house, customer-facing product experts who educate potential and existing customers, provide technical evaluations, and help qualify and close opportunities while feeding customer insights back to Product and Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Sales to articulate Grafana's value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
• Own technical engagement with customers and help close high-velocity opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
• Deliver product and technical presentations, demos, and hands-on enablement to potential and existing customers.
• Conduct technical evaluations and ongoing interaction to ensure customer success.
• Proactively communicate customer feedback and competitive landscape insights to internal teams (Product/Engineering).
• Drive product conversations based on customer needs discovered during engagements.
• Contribute to documentation, blog posts, videos, knowledge base articles, and other public and internal enablement material.

Requirements

• Strong written and oral communication skills to collaborate with remote internal teams and worldwide customers.
• Technical mindset and desire to grow technically; candidates may come from coding bootcamps, post-sales, or engineering backgrounds.
• Comfortable solving technical challenges and providing creative solutions to customers.
• Self-motivated, initiative-taking, and collaborative with good judgment and leadership potential.
• Familiarity with open source technologies, metrics/monitoring concepts, SRE/devops practices is advantageous.
• Experience with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC is a plus.
• Must be located in Bangalore, India.

Bonus / Preferred

• Experience with Open Source technologies and the Metrics/Monitoring space.
• Hands-on experience with OSS projects and SRE / DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with sales methodology (e.g., MEDD(P)ICC).

Compensation & Benefits

• In India, the OTE compensation range for this role is 6,500,000 - 8,400,000 INR. Actual compensation may vary based on level, experience, and skillset as assessed in the interview process. Benefits include equity, potential bonus, and other benefits listed by the company.
