International Card Services (ICS) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. with its own independent banking license. ICS is a payment service provider and market leader in credit card issuance in the Netherlands, with a subsidiary in Germany. Your Work
The Reporting Client Integrity team is responsible for all MI (Management Information) regarding Client Integrity, including KYC (Know Your Customer), SIRA, SIM, and Transaction Monitoring. Are you a data analyst who not only wants to work with numbers but also improve workflows? We are looking for a driven data analyst who actively contributes to optimizing internal workflows and promotes the Agile/SCRUM methodology within our team. In this role, you will combine in-depth data analysis with a hands-on approach to improve efficiency and foster continuous learning. You will report directly to the Lead Reporting Client Integrity.
Work Environment

You will work in a dynamic environment, closely cooperating with, among others, AA&AI, business reporting, data hub, and the Data Product Management Team. ICS is located in Diemen; for this position, you are expected to be present in the office two full days a week, but remote working is also possible.

Starting from October 2024, a new governance structure within ICS will be established with the creation of the Product, Solutions & Control (PSC) department. This department consists of six interconnected domains that will closely collaborate with all other ICS departments, ABN AMRO, and relevant external stakeholders. You will work within the domain of the Data Office. The Data Office includes the following components: Data Hub, Center of Expertise BI & AA, DPMT, Advanced Analytics & AI, Reporting Client Integrity, and Business Reporting.
Your Profile
Are you a data analyst who not only wants to work with numbers but also elevate workflows? We are looking for a motivated data analyst who actively contributes to optimizing internal workflows and encourages the Agile/SCRUM methodology within our team. In this role, you will merge extensive data analysis with a hands-on approach to enhance efficiency and promote continuous learning. You report directly to the Lead Reporting Client Integrity.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Collect, structure, and analyze large datasets focusing on identifying risk factors and operational performance.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Power BI to support decision-making processes.
- Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders within the company.
- Identify trends, deviations, and risks within the data, proactively making recommendations.
Team Support:
- Help structure the Client Integrity team to optimize workflows, efficiency, and performance.
- Lead meetings with stakeholders, represent the team and ensure alignment between business needs and data solutions.
- Share expertise and lead efforts to improve the overall knowledge and skills within the team.
- Support managing daily operations within the team, ensuring deadlines are met and high-quality outputs are delivered.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation.
Strategic Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as Business Development, Operations, and Compliance to align reporting solutions with strategic business goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop data-driven projects that impact overall business operations.
- Ensure continuous improvement of reporting processes and outputs to meet changing business needs.
Your Qualifications:
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Econometrics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
- At least 5 years of experience in a data analyst role within data analysis, with experience in PBI (DAX coding), SQL, and databases, preferably in the financial crime sector.
- Experience leading data-driven projects, with the skill to structure workflows/Agile/SCRUM.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data analyses clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous improvement.
We Offer
- The gross monthly salary, as displayed below, is based on a 36-hour workweek, including holiday pay and a benefits budget. The salary scale depends on your experience and skills, ranging from €5,846 to €8,353 (Hay 11).
- The benefits budget is 11% of your salary, allowing you to purchase additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a certain month, one twelfth of your benefits budget will be paid out that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase four additional weeks of vacation annually.
