To strengthen our position and contribute to our mission, we are looking for a Strategic Data Analyst who can bridge the gap between complex datasets and strategic decision-making.
Environment
You will work in the Data Hub team within the Data Office of ICS. The Data Office also includes an Advanced Analytics & AI team, a Data Product Management team, and two Business Reporting teams. The focus within the Data Hub team is on major transformation projects for ICS and forming a bridge between the other data teams, IT, and a broad field of stakeholders. In short, a crucial role in the data network of ICS!
Responsibilities
- Collecting, structuring, and analyzing large datasets.
- Advising management and stakeholders by translating complex data insights into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement data-driven projects.
- Ensuring strong alignment between data analysis and strategic business goals, considering market developments and regulations within the financial world.
- Contributing to strategic transformation projects by providing analytical insights that can be both exploratory and exploitative and often require problem-solving work.
- Actively contributing to the development of data-driven innovations and solutions that impact business operations.
Requirements
- A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Business Economics, etc., or an equivalent level of quantitative thinking and problem-solving.
- At least 5 years of experience in data analysis within the financial sector, consultancy, or a similar environment.
- Extensive knowledge of data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI (DAX code), Python, or R.
- Proven experience in building predictive models and conducting advanced analyses.
- Experience with regulations in the financial sector (such as Basel, AMLK, IFRS 9) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data analysis clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, strategic mindset.
- Flexible and strong adaptability, guiding the organization through challenges.
- Takes ownership by being responsible for one's own actions and decisions, showing commitment to achieving (departmental) goals or solving problems.

- A monthly salary ranging from €5,112 to €8,353 based on a 36-hour workweek, including vacation pay and the Benefit budget. (Salary scale depending on your experience and skills, ranging from Hay scale 10 to 11).
