The cloud environment consists of diverse machines and devices running multiple operating systems (Windows/Linux/Android) and hardware platforms including NVIDIA GPUs and Tegra Processors. This fast-paced environment challenges you to learn and apply engineering and operational principles, equipping you with extensive tools, processes, and technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance cloud automation, reporting, and monitoring systems.
- Contribute proactively to evolving documentation, automation, and processes.
- Learn to build and operate services at scale in a rapid iteration context.
- Manage small projects supporting internal process engineering efforts.
- Acquire working knowledge of common microservice development tools and infrastructure practices.
- Collaborate with a dynamic DevOps engineering team.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a MS or PhD in Computer Science or an equivalent program.
- Strong object-oriented programming skills, preferably in Java and Python.
- Familiarity with container management solutions like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and source code management systems like Git and GitLab.
- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, Oracle) and NoSQL databases (Elastic Search, MongoDB, HBase).
- Ability to convert design, compliance, and support content into documentation, presentations, and training.
Ways to Stand Out
- Prior experience in DevOps and SRE, especially with Kubernetes and containerized solutions.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, and network technologies.
- Background in AWS or other cloud computing platforms.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
