Responsibilities

  • Build ad campaign optimizations to enable advertisers to efficiently capture user engagement while minimizing costs.
  • Develop machine learning models that incorporate advertiser off-site goals into auction ranking to maximize installs, key conversions, or return on ad spend.
  • Own and improve budget pacing and autobidding systems which automate bidding based on advertiser objectives and manage budget delivery throughout the day.
  • Conduct rigorous and controlled experiments to measure the impact of system improvements.
  • Design new bid & budget optimization products and algorithms, and conduct A/B experiments to evaluate business impact.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, product, and marketing teams to represent customer voices.
  • Lead and contribute to team culture, technical direction, planning, and engineering design.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience designing optimization algorithms related to ads bidding, pacing, auctions, last mile delivery, or similar systems.
  • Experience driving technical innovations with large engineering teams or cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 7+ years writing high-quality production code at scale.
  • Strong proficiency in Java, Python, Go, or C++.
  • Experience with data processing frameworks and storage technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
