This role focuses on building the core advanced experience and works closely with product, research, marketing, and engineering to design high-quality web and mobile experiences for advanced traders globally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to product and design strategy direction and decision-making.
• Own end-to-end user journeys and all aspects of design execution: ideation, prototyping, user testing, and final production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and XFN peers to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Design intuitive web and mobile experiences for clients, with attention to complex, data-driven tools.
• Participate in regular design critiques to receive and provide feedback.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Product Design experience.
• Personal or professional experience with trading platforms and a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in these spaces.
• Exemplary product thinking, solutions orientation, and the ability to work autonomously.
• Proven track record of shipping successful products in a product team context.
• Sharp attention to detail and mastery of visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
• Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management experience.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
• Fluency in Figma and prototyping tools.
• Low ego, collaborative, and open-minded.
• Interest in crypto, trading, and financial products.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with 0-to-1 product launches in high-growth environments.
• Familiarity with data visualization and designing for complex, data-driven tools.
• Knowledge of advanced trading concepts such as order types, market analysis, and liquidity pools.

Work Location & Policy

While many roles at Coinbase are remote-first, we are not remote-only. In-person participation is required throughout the year; team and company-wide offsites are held multiple times annually and attendance is expected and supported. This position is listed with #LI-Remote and Position ID: P65256.

Compensation

Pay Range: $207,485—$244,100 USD (target annual salary; full-time offers also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
