Responsibilities
- Contribute to MetaMask's Assets experiences, including network management, token/NFT/DeFi asset presentation, and transaction history.
- Unify and enhance experiences across the Portfolio dApp, Browser Extension, and Mobile platforms.
- Coordinate and communicate with other teams to complete complex projects.
- Mentor junior engineers and elevate the team's overall skill level.
Requirements
- 5+ years working with web and mobile technologies.
- Hands-on experience with React and React Native.
- Extensive knowledge of modern JavaScript (ES6, TypeScript, etc.).
- Experience with blockchain fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of cross-platform/browser compatibility.
- Agile development team experience.
- Skilled in developing medium to large applications with minimal tech debt through good practices (testing, linting, coding standards).
- Experience consuming APIs and understanding Continuous Integration.
- Strong understanding of web security threats and prevention.
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of ERC20 and SPL20 token standards.
- Passion and knowledge of blockchain technologies.
- Understanding of cyber-cryptography.
- Experience in decentralized/distributed teams.
- Previous Web3 work experience.
- Product knowledge of Web3 wallets.
