At Customer.io, partners drive more than 40% of our growth, and we’re investing heavily in scaling this impact. We’re looking for a Partner Manager, Strategic Technology Alliances to own and expand our technology partnerships—especially in the CRM and Martech ecosystems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, and others).
This role is about more than just managing relationships. You’ll be building and executing go-to-market strategies that drive new customer acquisition, deepen product integrations, and create joint value with some of the most important platforms in our ecosystem.
We need someone who’s a builder and operator: equally comfortable mapping out alliance strategy as they are driving execution with partner managers, AEs, and marketing teams.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships and build GTM events with named Strategic Alliances
- Drive demand generation and account mapping with alliance sales teams
- Drive co-marketing and co-selling motions to bring integrations to market
- Execute joint GTM plans with technology partners and Customer.io’s sales and marketing teams
- Develop joint marketing materials
- Establish bidirectional executive relations
- Enable Customer.io AEs and Partner Managers to position and sell integrations effectively
- Deliver partner revenue outcomes: sourced pipeline, influenced deals, and new customer growth
- Represent Customer.io at ecosystem events, partner summits, and joint customer-facing activities
How You’ll Be Measured
- New pipeline development with choice alliances
- Partner-sourced and influenced pipeline & revenue
- Partner technical training & sales enablement for alliance field sellers
- Execution and adoption of joint GTM plays (co-marketing, co-selling, co-enablement)
- Engagement of Customer.io sales + partner managers in alliance-driven motions
Requirements / Who You Are
- 7+ years of experience in building alliances GTM, or partner sales in B2B SaaS
- Prior experience building a joint value proposition and GTM plan with named partnerships
- Deep familiarity with CRM and Martech ecosystems (HubSpot, Salesforce, Gong, Marketo, etc.)
- Proven track record of building alliances across all phases: product integration, joint messaging, GTM execution, and sales scaling
- Experienced in running executive QBRs
- Comfortable engaging with multiple stakeholders: product, marketing, sales leadership, and external partner executives
- Thrive in an environment that requires creativity, resourcefulness, and ownership
Structure & Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Sales leadership to define and execute alliance priorities
- Collaborate with Channel Account Managers to scale integrations into partner + AE conversations
- Drive cross-functional alignment and ensure alliances deliver measurable business results
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $100
- Contract / Freelance (2 months)
