Responsibilities
You will form a crucial part of the Partner Management team. As a Strategic Partner Manager you get to shape and drive Eneco’s ideal vendor eco-system. You will join at a dynamic time where we are transforming the way we source and collaborate with our key technology vendors and all internal stakeholders. You will ensure that the key IT vendors in your portfolio deliver maximum value to the organization by managing contracts, relationships, service performance, and compliance.
You'll be responsible for:
- Maintaining solid relationships with key partners and suppliers at a strategic level
- Developing and executing IT vendor management strategies aligned with Eneco’s value stream objectives
- Negotiating, reviewing, and managing IT service contracts in close collaboration with procurement
- Maximizing vendor added value, performance, and compliance
- Driving leaders to balance the trade-offs between speed-to-market, cost, risk, and quality
- Proactively managing vendor-related risks, resolving disputes, and handling escalations
- Establishing and maintaining mature supplier policies, governance, processes, and reporting standards
- Supporting and driving a community of practice for contract and vendor management
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to improve cost efficiency while maintaining high service quality
- Implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives in IT vendor management
- Mentoring team colleagues
Requirements
- Master’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in IT vendor management, outsourcing, contract management, or procurement roles
- In-depth experience managing large, complex, modern IT outsourcing contracts (e.g., cloud, infrastructure, applications, managed services, hybrid)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Expert knowledge of IT service agreements, commercial contracts, and financial principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Innovative, strategic thinker with broad interests and academic curiosity
- Professional working proficiency in Dutch and English
- Familiarity with Agile, LEAN, ITIL, COBIT, or other IT governance frameworks is a plus
- Proven experience in mentoring and coaching
Work Environment
You will work in the Partner Management team directly under the office of the CTO. The team is responsible for Eneco’s major technology providers and values a can-do attitude with a focus on the best outcome for Eneco and each team member.
