Information about the position
We’re looking for a team member to join our new Strategy & Planning function in Community Support. Community Support is the member-facing organisation of Vinted Group’s offerings across Marketplace, Vinted Go and Vinted Pay. Community Support ensures that members can access helpful support for any issues they face on the platform, as well as keeping members safe as they use the platform. Our team works directly with the VP of Community Support and the leadership team to:
- We help set the strategic direction for the next 1–3 years. This involves defining focus areas that achieve our cost and quality goals and solving complex strategic questions.
- We drive business performance cadence and governance. We own the strategy cycle and track progress against strategic objectives using OKRs and KPIs across Community Support.
- We build and evolve our strategy craft. We improve processes, grow strategic skills, and foster a culture of effective decision-making.
As a Strategist in Community Support, you'll help create clarity on our strategic direction by building clear business cases and assisting with high-level modelling to quantify strategic trade-offs. You'll also provide the executive reporting and governance we need to drive accountability and track execution. We're defining how our team works, so you'll join us to build and refine our strategy process right from the start.
In this position, you’ll
- Work with cross-functional leaders (e.g. in operations, customer experience, product and data) to create strategic business cases aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and improving support quality.
- Assist with strategic financial modeling to forecast scenarios and support leadership in quantifying strategic trade-offs.
- Keep track of strategy execution by enabling the setting, and the monitoring and reviewing of OKRs and KPIs for Community Support on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Conduct market analysis to understand trends (technology, regulatory, consumer preferences, competitor) and derive insights in customer support.
- Prepare for and support strategic discussions and workshops to ensure there is clear alignment within the Community Support leadership between strategy and prioritised initiatives.
- Assist with strategy materials and presentations for senior leadership, and support with executive reporting processes.
About you
- BSc/MSc in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance.
- 3+ years experience in a high performance environment such as management consulting, online/e-commerce or in-house strategy teams is a strong advantage.
- Conceptual thinker comfortable with an ambiguous and ever-changing environment, eager to provide input on new processes or workflows as we establish our strategic discipline.
- Ability to present data clearly to all seniority levels, and distill complex information into actionable insights.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on business outcomes,
- Proven track record with quantitative data analyses and business case modeling (advanced Excel skills, SQL is a plus).
- Ability to create high quality materials or models in Google Slides, Docs or Sheets.
- Customer-focused with an interest in understanding how cost-effective operational efficiency can be leveraged to improve service quality.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders from a variety of departments (Operations, Finance, Product, Data, Engineering and Design).
- Enthusiastic, hands-on, can-do attitude and alignment with our company values.
- Excellent at communicating in spoken and written English.

The salary range for this position is € 2542 - € 3442 gross per month.
