Airbnb's Experiences Global Growth and New Initiatives Team is the central engine for scaling the Experiences business globally. The team develops strategies, scales successful initiatives, and establishes a unified framework for growth. As a Strategy and Business Growth Lead you will drive demand strategy and business growth for a defined set of priority markets and lead select global cross-functional programs to improve how guests discover and book experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic plans that drive growth for Airbnb's Experiences business across priority markets.
  • Own demand strategy and be the DRI for driving demand for Experiences in assigned markets and their contribution to global business outcomes.
  • Lead select global cross-functional programs that improve discoverability and booking performance for Experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with product management, finance, marketing, community, communications, sales operations, and supply teams to align on and execute goals.
  • Translate data-driven insights into actionable operational plans to enhance business performance and build efficiency into systems.
  • Engage stakeholders and serve as a trusted advisor by communicating complex data and market dynamics into clear recommendations and business context.
  • Design and run rapid test-and-learn experiments and creative growth initiatives (e.g., incentives, business models, partnerships) to identify scalable growth opportunities.
  • Prioritize opportunities and resources across multiple initiatives and lenses, balancing cost and impact.
  • Drive process improvements and develop tools to enhance operational workflows and interpret business risks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading complex growth initiatives or business programs in high-growth environments; demonstrated ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of building and scaling new businesses, preferably within consumer services or digital companies.
  • Direct go-to-market experience launching and scaling growth initiatives such as paid marketing, referral programs, ambassador programs, distribution partnerships, affiliates, and creative growth experiments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear business strategies and recommendations.
  • Experience with rapid test-and-learn approaches, designing experiments and quickly assessing viability.
  • Excellent prioritization skills: able to evaluate opportunities and costs to focus resources effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills; comfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive collaboration across diverse teams and foster transparency and accountability.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working independently to execute complex programs.
  • Experience in business operations, process improvement, and community engagement aligned with company values.

Location & Work Arrangement

  • Remote eligible, based out of Miami, Florida or Los Angeles, California. Occasional in-office work or offsite attendance may be required as agreed with your manager.
  • Must live in a U.S. state where Airbnb, Inc. has a registered entity (see careers.airbnb.com for excluded states).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay range: $164,000—$205,000 USD.
  • Role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
