NVIDIA is seeking a Support Solutions Engineer to work with enterprise customers to improve availability, reliability, and the overall experience of NVIDIA AI enterprise hardware and software products in the datacenter. This role involves leading cluster deployments, driving customer issues to resolution, collaborating with engineering teams, and contributing technical content to the knowledge base. The position works closely with the latest hardware (GPUs, AI accelerators, high-speed interconnects) and software technologies (ML frameworks, Spark, Kubernetes, Ceph).
Responsibilities
- Work with NVIDIA Enterprise customers and internal users to improve availability, reliability, and overall experience of NVIDIA AI enterprise hardware and software products in datacenter environments.
- Lead cluster deployments and drive customer issues to resolution.
- Work hands-on with hardware (GPUs, AI accelerators, high-speed interconnects) and software technologies including ML frameworks and tools such as Spark, Kubernetes, and Ceph.
- Analyze, reproduce, and resolve complex issues; collaborate closely with engineering teams to research new GPU use cases.
- Author and maintain technical solutions and documentation in the knowledge base.
- Provide excellent communication to customers and internal teams during escalations and deployments.
Requirements
- BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of system software development and hardware support experience, ideally with customer-facing time.
- Strong computer science foundations and excellent knowledge of Python and scripting methodologies.
- Experience with system software, datacenter technologies, and AI infrastructure.
- Superb interpersonal and communication skills; experience collaborating with customers and engineering teams to understand, explain, and resolve issues.
- Intellectual curiosity, analytical ability, self-motivation, flexibility, and a team-oriented mindset.
Ways to stand out
- Background as a developer and/or support escalation team member for large enterprise/service provider customers at a company producing AI and data analytics software.
- Experience developing with C and/or Python.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary ranges (location and level dependent):
- Level 4: 160,000 USD - 253,000 USD
- Level 5: 192,000 USD - 304,750 USD
- Eligible for equity and company benefits (see NVIDIA benefits page).
