Responsibilities

  • Define, design, and develop GPU system software components focusing on power and performance.
  • Drive end-to-end GPU power management features from idea to productization including chip bring-up.
  • Independently drive and resolve complex technical issues across multiple teams and technical disciplines.
  • Influence next generation GPU architecture and system software by creating internal architecture and design specifications.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with local and remote teams.

Requirements

  • Pursuing BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C with in-depth knowledge of low-level firmware development, including interrupt handling, memory management, and hardware programming following datasheets.
  • Solid background in operating system internals, device drivers, real-time embedded operating systems, algorithms, and data structures.
  • Ability to work closely with hardware designers and other driver engineers to create new features and solutions.

Ways To Stand Out From The Crowd

  • Experience in architecture and design of software power management and optimization; datacenter power management experience is a plus.
  • Prior experience designing real-time software controllers.
  • Experience in system software, operating system internals, kernel modules, and device drivers.
