The Server Platform Software Tools team at NVIDIA develops infrastructure and tools for server readiness in data centers, focusing on manageability, reliability, serviceability, availability (RAS), and server firmware management.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow the Firmware Lifecycle Infrastructure, Server Validation, and Tools engineering team.
- Manage planning, execution, performance, and quality of projects.
- Participate in feature design and implementation as a technical leader.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand requirements and define product roadmap.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, infrastructure, and practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software industry specializing in system software and/or firmware development.
- 4+ years of management experience.
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proven track record in systems software or firmware development managing complex products through full lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of server architecture, system software fundamentals, hardware-software interactions, and performance analysis/optimization.
- Excellent Python programming and debugging skills on Linux.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.
- Flexibility to work and communicate across different teams and time zones.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with datacenter server software architecture and firmware/hardware management.
- Understanding of REST architecture, especially JSON over HTTPS with OAuth.
