NVIDIA is looking for an intern for an exciting role involving data analysis for datacenter applications. The position plays a key role in cutting-edge computing hardware and software, contributing to breakthroughs in artificial intelligence and GPU computing. The role involves providing insights on large-scale system design using machine learning for GPU-accelerated clusters. The team works with the latest accelerated computing and deep learning software and hardware platforms and collaborates with researchers, developers, and customers to develop leading differentiated solutions. Interaction with OS, container technologies, GPU compute, and systems specialists is vital to architect, develop, and optimize large-scale performance software components.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing large-scale workloads and identifying application and infrastructure improvement opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights on high dimensional data to support engineering solutions based on NVIDIA technology.
  • Research and analyze data, identify trends, link changes to recorded events, craft conclusions, create visuals, and support data-driven decisions.
  • Work closely with the team to understand analysis needs and communicate findings.
  • Apply machine learning or deep learning techniques for classification and prediction, including implementation and integration into existing software toolsets.
  • Document work and related materials to facilitate team building on contributions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience debugging and analyzing data, and building visuals to show trends.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • Strong programming skills, especially in Python and Javascript.
  • Exposure to telemetry tools such as Grafana, ElasticSearch, or Splunk.
  • Understanding of core machine learning techniques and concepts.
  • Fast learner with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
