Responsibilities
- Technical support and administration of the Atlassian product suite including Confluence, Jira Software, and Jira Service Management and related plugins
- Collaborate with end users to design and implement automation rules and scripts to meet business requirements
- Maintain runbooks and related documentation
- Customize workflows, issue types, fields, and screens to meet the needs of the organization
- Set up and configure dashboards and reports to provide project status and progress visibility
- Advise users on how to optimize their use of these applications to support/align with related business processes
- Evaluate and implement plugins and integrations
- Participate in all agile ceremonies
- Participate in testing and implementing upgrades
- Work with IT Product Managers and Engineers on larger initiatives
- Develop and maintain integrations with other systems, such as source control and build systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with internal tooling
- Train and support end-users on the use of Jira
Requirements
- At least 2-3 years enterprise-level experience in Jira and Confluence system administration
- Strong knowledge of Jira and Confluence configuration, administration, and integration
- Experience with Jira plugins and Atlassian Marketplace applications
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management workflows
- Evaluate customer requests and identify underlying requirements and use cases
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Communicate clearly and concisely
- Ability to work effectively in a remote-first work environment
Nice to Haves
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Ability to generate basic scripts in Groovy, SIL, Python, or Go
- Experience in automating EC2 or containers deployment
- Atlassian certification ACP-100 Jira Administration for Data Center and Server
- Strong security understanding
- Experience working in a highly regulated environment
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company
