Be the technical force behind groundbreaking demonstrations of NVIDIA technology at our Santa Clara Headquarters Executive Briefing Center (EBC). You will sustain the EBC Demo Room infrastructure by setting up, configuring, and optimizing servers, complex AV, and specialized hardware/software. This role demands technical depth and agility to ensure the EBC demo environment operates flawlessly and is ready to impress customers with NVIDIA technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Configure, deploy, and maintain physical and virtual servers, including GPU-accelerated hardware, storage, and networking gear.
- Ensure stability and optimized performance of all demo systems.
- Maintain inventory of demo equipment, ensuring systems are patched, backed up, and meet security compliance standards.
- Collaborate with demo owners and product teams to install new demos including procurement of custom hardware and environmental adjustments.
- Plan for evolving compute needs including upgrades and expansion.
- Build and implement automation workflows (scripting, configuration management) for consistent, repeatable, and rapid deployment and teardown of demo environments.
- Coordinate with IT and networking teams for seamless backend and front-of-house integration.
- Document configurations and create reference guides for repeatable system builds to be shared globally.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience.
- Validated experience with enterprise server hardware (Dell PowerEdge, HPE ProLiant, Supermicro) and enterprise networking, including GPU-based systems.
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware vSphere suite: vCenter, ESXi).
- Advanced system administration and configuration across Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu) and Windows environments.
- Containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) experience.
- Strong shell scripting skills (Bash), Python programming preferred.
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, SaltStack).
- Experience with physical installation, cabling, and removal of servers, network switches, storage arrays, GPUs within standard racks.
- Understanding of NVIDIA SXM module specifics such as power delivery, clocking, thermal output, and power draw.
- Ability to network displays, speakers, microphones, and other peripherals seamlessly across machines.
- Knowledge of video basics, common display resolutions, chroma subsampling, and HDMI bandwidth limits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication including technical documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
- Flexibility for occasional evenings or adjusted hours and potential on-call support during critical events.

- Familiarity with video and audio production tools, technical specifications, and workflows.
- Proficiency with specialized lighting techniques to enhance demo environments.
- Prior experience with NVIDIA products, technology, culture, and positioning.
