NVIDIA's invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU computing ignited the era of AI. NVIDIA's Performance Lab works on cutting-edge technologies in AI, graphics rendering, and datacenters.
Responsibilities
- Write and maintain creative software solutions that challenge NVIDIA products.
- Work closely with other teams on new projects, features, and improvements of existing products.
- Apply fundamentals of data engineering, data science, and data visualization to enhance insights from performance data.
- Collaborate across functional borders and contribute to improving code quality.
Requirements
- Enrolled in a Bachelor's program majoring in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Desire to improve code quality by learning and applying computer science fundamentals, algorithms, and data structures.
- Comfort with teamwork, collaboration, and building partnerships across functions.
- Active experience with Python.
Preferred / Ways to stand out
- Experience with statistics and data science.
- Experience using SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
- Comfort with training, testing, and evaluating machine learning models.
- Passion for computer graphics and visual experiences.
- Familiarity with GPUs, graphics rendering, and datacenter-scale performance considerations.
Compensation & Logistics
- Internship hourly rate: 20 CAD - 63 CAD (pay varies by position, location, year in school, degree, and experience).
