In the software department of ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance you will help develop and run technical solutions. The software is partly developed in-house and partly provided by third parties. This role focuses on managing third-party applications from a technical standpoint, working with Azure infrastructure, ensuring application updates, providing technical support and potentially expanding into functional support. The position also includes small development and maintenance tasks, mainly focused on integration, SQL queries and application reporting.
Responsibilities
- Manage third-party applications, ensuring technical integrity and performance.
- Install and update infrastructure in Azure to support application needs.
- Perform regular updates and maintenance on applications.
- Provide technical support to users and stakeholders; resolve issues that arise.
- Collaborate with other teams and suppliers to ensure seamless integration and functionality of applications.
- Expand the role to include functional support to enhance user experience and application utility.
- Perform small development and maintenance tasks, mainly focusing on integration, SQL queries and application reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing and supporting third-party applications.
- Strong knowledge of Azure infrastructure and cloud services.
- Hands-on experience in the DevOps area, creating and managing pipelines.
- Knowledge of SQL, creating new queries and managing existing queries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and technical acumen.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team (you will be part of a scrum team).
- Experience providing both technical and functional support is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical information clearly.
- A proactive, driven attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to changing technologies.
Working environment
- You will be part of a dynamic and collaborative scrum team at ABN AMRO Asset Based Finance.
- The team runs several third-party applications (technical and functional) that form the core of the client proposition.
- Close collaboration with various teams across ABN AMRO to ensure optimal performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Hybrid working model (2-5 office days), with good facilities for remote working.

- Salary: €4.466 - €6.380 per month (hired in ABN AMRO scale 9; classification based on experience and benchmarking).
