We’re on the hunt for a Tech Domain Lead specialising in the design and execution of the technology strategy for Business Banking Products. This role offers a unique chance to lead and shape ING's delivery function as part of their Leap strategy, building the bank of the future. The Domain Lead must navigate complex delivery environments, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive efficiency, quality, and operational excellence.
You’ll enjoy providing ongoing deep dives on challenges and opportunities while bridging the gap between technology and business.
Responsibilities
- Drive technology domain strategies, collaborate on project roadmaps, lead implementations, embed agile practices, manage budgets and contracts, and ensure operational excellence.
- Act as the main contact for stakeholders, build strong relationships, advocate for technology solutions, and lead cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable items.
- Ensure compliance of business activities within the Business Banking Accounts and Deposits Domain with external regulations, voluntary codes, and internal policies.
- Collaborate with the CISO to develop and implement strategies for timely addressing security vulnerabilities, software bugs, and system vulnerabilities.
- Manage and report on a diverse team’s performance, set objectives, collaborate on hiring needs, foster professional development, and ensure alignment with ING’s values and practices.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of leadership in substantial financial services technology teams.
- Extensive experience with technologies such as J2EE, .NET, and Polymer.
- Skilled in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Expertise in Change Management, Communications, and Stakeholder Management.
- Proven track record in developing and executing technology strategies for Business Banking Products (Lending/Liabilities).
- Proficient in managing and negotiating large vendor contracts exceeding $10 million.
