Role overview
We are looking for a technically passionate, solution-focused Trading Application Support Engineer to join the Financial Markets & Group Treasury – Investing IT area of ING. The team is responsible for development and maintenance of systems used in Financial Markets and Global Treasury. The team is dedicated to an externally hosted application. The global ING job architecture role naming convention for this position is “Engineer III.” Please send your CV in English.
Responsibilities
- Manage incidents, requests, and change tickets
- Provide daily operational support for trading application and environments
- Drive automation of repetitive tasks and manual processes
- Continuously improve support workflows and system reliability
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance
- Participate in Scrum ceremonies
- Implement, improve, and manage the release pipeline, including automated functional and non-functional testing
- Work closely with end users to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in software support or DevOps, preferably supporting highly scalable, secure, and high-performance applications
- Strong knowledge of Linux/UNIX and Windows Server administration
- Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Scala, Python, or others
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and release management
- Basic scripting and automation skills
- Experience with monitoring tools, such as Zabbix
- English level: B2/C1
