NVIDIA's Networking OS Software Verification Group is hiring a Software Verification Engineer for the NVLink & InfiniBand Switch Software Development team. As a member of the team you will work on core projects that drive company technology and business growth, gain knowledge of switch operating systems and large-scale network construction, and participate in verification at scale.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, optimize and maintain APIs, tools and libraries for OS verification infrastructure software.
- Design, develop and maintain automated tests for release features.
- Collaborate with team members, architects, design and QA teams, and internal and external customers.
- Lead feature development, take full ownership of tasks from A to Z, and deliver independently with minimum supervision.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or MS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer.
- Strong and proven experience with object-oriented programming languages.
- Strong technical abilities in problem solving, system design, coding and debugging.
- Ability to lead feature development and deliver independently.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team while multitasking.
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience in Python programming.
- Knowledge of networking protocols.
- Understanding of hardware and low-level software.
- Experience with automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with NVLink, InfiniBand, and switch operating systems is a plus.
Salary & Compensation
- Base salary ranges provided by level:
- Level 2: 120,000 USD - 189,750 USD
- Level 3: 148,000 USD - 235,750 USD
- Eligible for equity and benefits. Base salary will be determined based on location, experience, and internal pay equity.
