NVIDIA is hiring a Vice President, Solutions Architecture to lead the AI Solution Architecture team. The role focuses on attracting and retaining technical talent, acting as an external technical spokesperson, and building trusted technical-advisor relationships with CxOs and engineering leaders at enterprise, cloud, and government customers who are building and deploying AI. The role requires strong working knowledge of GPU-accelerated computing, artificial intelligence, deep learning, and data analytics, including an understanding of underlying software and hardware architectures.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, and develop solution architects and data scientists to support a rapidly growing enterprise professional services business.
• Serve as the primary point of AI services for NVIDIA hardware and software products provided to cloud, enterprise, and government customers.
• Shepherd critical customer issues and provide timely advance warning of issues requiring attention.
• Develop a team of solution architects to provide deep architectural AI services engagements across NVIDIA solutions; support worldwide sales and business management and work to secure design wins.
• Establish close technical relationships with customer accounts at CTO and CxO levels to facilitate rapid issue resolution and high customer satisfaction.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, program management, and applications engineering; represent NVIDIA at conferences and events.

Requirements

• 20+ years overall experience in the AI industry in a technical role.
• 10+ years of management experience.
• Experience building and deploying AI models into production.
• PhD in EE, CS, Math, or Physics, or equivalent experience.
• In-depth knowledge of computer systems architecture.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, high-growth environment and able to work independently with strong communication skills.
• Experience with NVIDIA Deep Learning software and systems and recruiting solution architects with software development skills to introduce automation and build robust AI systems.

Preferred / Ways to stand out

• AI and data analytics development experience.
• Cloud development and deployment experience.
• In-depth software development or data science experience.
• MBA degree.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: 480,000 USD - 690,000 USD (final base salary determined by location, experience, and pay of employees in similar positions).
• Eligible for equity and company benefits (see NVIDIA benefits).

Location & Logistics

• Can be based at NVIDIA Santa Clara headquarters or remote in a major US city.
