The expected salary for this position: 9 600 - 19 000 PLN
The financial ranges specified in the announcement are adjusted and may differ from the range specified in the remuneration regulations.
Responsibilities
- Act as single point of contact for risk managers from various ING entities around the globe.
- Provide second line support for monthly processes.
- Investigate and address queries from ING entities and recommend solutions.
- Implement location-specific requirements onto QRM (risk computation software), providing description of change and test evidence.
- Act as safety guardian of the IRRBB metrics.
- Foster automation of existing processes.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable in risk management methodology.
- Ability to break down NPV and NII measures into risk factors.
- Experience within ALM and/or Interest Rate Risk Management (IRRBB).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance (bank or insurance company).
- Good communicator; experience liaising with stakeholders such as local risk management departments, finance departments, data teams, UAT teams, and model developers.
- Team player, problem solver, proactive and eager to learn.
- English level: B2.
You will get extra points for:
- Familiarity with ALM software (e.g., QRM, Fusion Risk, OneSumX, Moody's Analytics).
- Knowledge of approaches to model banking book products (mortgages, savings, current accounts).
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, and VBA.
- IT affinity.
- Masterβs degree in econometrics, mathematics, economics or similar quantitative study.
- Experience working in Agile (Scrum).
Team / Additional Information
International project team of around 90 ALM specialists operating from Amsterdam (NL), Warsaw (PL) and Manila (PH). This particular position is based in Warsaw. The ALM Services team supports local risk managers, works with QRM to deliver analyses focused on IRRBB, covers balance sheet forecasting and financial valuation based on behavioral assumptions and interest rate scenarios, and supports replication and hedging processes. The ALM platform is a strategic, group-wide transformation and the Warsaw office role is growing.
