Responsibilities

  • Contribute as a member of the Android development team to build and maintain the Saily Android app.
  • Integrate and interact with existing backend REST APIs and provide mobile-specific feedback to backend, web and UX teams.
  • Work with Product Owners, QA and Support to ensure the Android app maintains high quality.
  • Debug and resolve issues reported by users and internal testing teams.
  • Participate in a growing development team alongside Kotlin engineers and QAs.
  • Stay up to date with modern Android tools, patterns and methodologies to ensure high code quality.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of extensive Android development experience.
  • Fluent with Kotlin and strong knowledge of Android APIs and SDKs.
  • Experience with MVVM and Clean Architecture patterns.
  • Experience with local persistence: Room or SQLite databases.
  • Experience with reactive/asynchronous programming using Coroutines.
  • Knowledge of modern Android libraries and trends such as Jetpack Compose and Hilt.
  • Experience with debugging tools and resolving issues reported by users.
  • Experience writing unit and UI tests.
  • Experience working with large codebases.

Bonus Points

  • Networking knowledge and prior experience developing telecommunication solutions.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.

Salary
