The Enterprise Applications & Architecture (EAA) Team acts as a catalyst by leveraging best-in-class, third-party enterprise applications, purpose-built software, automation, and integrated workflows. The Business Unit Delivery team builds and supports applications used by Coinbase's business unit partners. The EAA Onboarding team focuses on building, configuring, and managing applications to deliver a superior onboarding experience for institutional customers.
This role is for a Product Manager on the EAA Onboarding team who will lead strategic cross-functional initiatives to develop scalable, data-driven, customer-focused, and security-first tooling solutions to support Coinbaseβs institutional customers. The role involves implementing and optimizing third-party tools and collaborating with teams such as Legal, Compliance, Security, IT, Engineering, Product, and Data to improve the onboarding experience.
Responsibilities
- Partner with internal teams to understand bespoke tooling needs.
- Lead and manage technical programs to improve the customer experience for Coinbase institutional users and scale operations.
- Estimate work efforts, design project plans, define milestones, and manage resources while driving adherence and compliance.
- Write technical PRDs, manage technical backlogs, and prioritize work items (new features, bugs, tech debt, etc.).
- Develop frameworks for stakeholders and peer PMs to streamline and scale operations and eliminate ambiguity.
- Coordinate with multiple development teams to drive cross-functional, enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with leadership and external business units (Compliance, Legal, Security, IT, Engineering, Product, Data, etc.) to ensure projects are delivered on time and stakeholders are held accountable for deliverables.
- Turn support data into actionable customer experience improvement opportunities.
- Become an SME and thought leader in developing a best-in-class customer onboarding experience.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Information Management Systems or equivalent experience.
- 1+ years experience, preferably in business applications development management or product management for internal products.
- Experience in large tooling delivery.
- Knowledge and experience working with Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRM), Knowledge Management Systems (KMS), Machine Learning (ML), chatbots, and internal home-grown tooling (Amazon Connect, Salesforce preferred).
- Background working within an Agile environment and using Jira.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter who can tackle complex, ambiguous technical challenges.
Nice to haves
- Experience with Compliance programs related to expanding to new geographies.
Work location and policy
- Remote-first role with required in-person participation throughout the year for team and company offsites and other events. In-person attendance is expected and supported.

Pay Range & Benefits
- Pay Range: $122,145 β $143,700 USD (target annual salary; full-time offers also include bonus eligibility, equity eligibility, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)).
