Details

We are seeking a senior Azure DevOps engineer with comprehensive knowledge of core Azure technologies including IaaS and PaaS services, networking, policy and governance, and security controls. The role involves joining a platform team that develops Azure services for other internal teams, blending architecture and engineering responsibilities, and providing guidance on short-term and long-term goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Azure DevOps solutions with consideration for security and compliance.
  • Translate business requirements into development requirements.
  • Enable internal Azure customers (400+ DevOps teams) to consume Azure services securely and compliantly as self-service.
  • Act as a contributor or leader in a DevOps team designing and supporting Azure platform products, solutions, functions, and capabilities.

Working Environment

  • Belong to the Public Cloud Grid within the Platforms & Technology unit.
  • Engage with one of the largest Azure cloud platform deployments in Europe.
  • Implement Azure Cloud Services using DevOps and Agile methodologies.
  • Collaborate with 10+ Azure DevOps teams to deliver value to business DevOps teams.

Requirements

  • Microsoft Azure Certified Solution Architect.
  • Extensive senior-level experience using and developing Azure Services.
  • Strong security focus; CCSP or other related certifications recommended.
  • Skilled in design and deployment of ARM templates, JSON, PowerShell.
  • Experienced with YAML pipelines; C# knowledge is beneficial.
  • Proficient with Azure DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Azure service portfolio and newest developments.
  • Ability to be a sparring partner for development and cloud DevOps teams.
  • Service-oriented with a growth mindset.
  • Strong teamwork and effective communication skills including explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Available for at least 36 hours per week.

  • Gross monthly salary between €5,847 and €8,353 (based on a 36-hour work week), including vacation pay and benefit budget.
