Responsibilities

  • Develop processes, workflows, and interfaces for assigned functionalities within ING's internet banking application and internal processes.
  • Understand and challenge business requirements, functional analysis, and change tasks as needed.
  • Produce clean, efficient business process rules based on specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, programmers, architects, and engineers.
  • Assist in creating test plans and designing test cases.
  • Maintain and update integration (regression) test plans.
  • Report, record, fix, or escalate discovered errors/bugs.
  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements for user experience designs.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement in development processes.
  • Provide 3rd line support for production and UAT incidents.
  • Document application lifecycle processes.
  • Participate in application planning meetings.

Requirements

  • University degree in IT or engineering.
  • 3+ years' experience as BPM Engineer, System Engineer, Technical Analyst, or System Analyst.
  • Basic programming knowledge in VB, JavaScript, Python, C#, etc.
  • SQL database skills ranging from basic to advanced.
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).
  • Strong abstract thinking, debugging, and root cause analysis abilities.
  • Basic knowledge of IT landscape and software development lifecycle.
  • Analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and customer orientation.
  • Flexibility and ability to organize work efficiently.
  • Experience in workflow diagram design.

  • Experience with change management and defect tracking tools.
  • High standards of confidentiality handling sensitive information.
  • Agile methodology working experience.
  • Experience with other BPM tools.
  • Knowledge of BPMN 2 standard.
