Tribe Account & Payment Factory
The Tribe Account & Payment Factory is responsible for payment and current account processing and related services. Within the Transaction Processing Area, we deliver fast, reliable, and efficient transaction processing 24/7. To ensure continuous service availability, we are renewing the payment factory, simplifying our payment landscape, decommissioning legacy systems, and migrating to a new tech stack. High service availability is key. For a brief impression of our Tribe, check out this video.
Your role
Within the Transaction Processing Area, ROM is the central component in the technical architecture where all customer orders are received, validated, and enriched with any missing elements. These are then processed at the appropriate time (based on customer demand) as clean payment orders (in the correct format). ROM plays a crucial role in enabling smooth and direct processing in the payment engines.
We are looking for a Business Analyst with a focus on processing batch payments. Your main goal will be to continuously improve payment processes and ensure the continuity of this critical payment chain. Over the coming years, you will also contribute to the development and migration of on-premise applications to AWS Cloud.
Your responsibilities
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to SEPA (Instant), Cross-Border, and SWIFT/Multibank payments.
- Analysis: Analyze business needs and translate them into functional specifications within Confluence for payment processing.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within the payment workflow and recommend solutions.
- Documentation: Prepare detailed documentation, including user stories and process diagrams specific to payment products.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Order Management team to ensure requirements are well understood and correctly implemented.
- Testing: Assist in developing and executing test plans to ensure payment solutions meet business needs.
- Support: Provide support in case of production incidents.
Your and your talent
- 3β5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Experience in mission-critical, high-availability banking IT environments.
- Knowledge of payment processes and products (preferably SEPA, cross-border payments like SWIFT, etc.), and payment solutions. Experience with high-volume transactions, high-value payments, and 24x7 services.
