Within Enterprise Architecture team for People and Hubs we are looking for a new Chapter Lead for the Enterprise Content and Automation architecture chapter. As a Chapter Lead Architect, you will lead an experienced team of Domain and Solution Architects, both hierarchically and functionally. The position is based in Amsterdam with architects based in Amsterdam, Poland and Belgium.
Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert and demonstrate proven expertise on the Enterprise Content Management domain.
- Stay up to date with the latest external developments for the EC&A domain.
- Define a long-term (5-10 year) view for the domain considering external and internal drivers.
- Contribute to the strategy definition for the EC&A Tribe aligned with ING's Technology Strategy.
- Define and maintain current state architecture across business, information, application, and technology levels for the EC&A domain.
- Define and maintain target state views and architecture roadmaps; ensure same for sub-domains.
- Govern architecture quality and adherence including forums, quality of submissions, decision, and deviation management.
- Compile standards, standard solutions, and reference architecture documentation impacting EC&A domain.
- Provide ongoing guidance, review, and feedback on architecture deliverables.
- Deliver clear presentations in forums including executive-level.
- Manage stakeholders at all levels from technical teams to business and vendor representatives.
- Ensure implementation aligns with approved architecture deliverables by the EC&A tribe.
Main responsibilities as chapter lead:
- Recruiting chapter members
- Performance management
- Ensuring continued development of hard and soft skills
- Managing leave and absenteeism
- Ensuring compliance with ING policies
- Mentoring and coaching architects
- Managing work allocation, capacity, and transparency on delivery commitments
- Communicating global Enterprise Architecture and technology developments to the chapter
Requirements
- Strong experience in enterprise architecture with delivery across multiple EC&A areas including content generation, distribution, archiving, retrieval, and retention management.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing architecture solutions.
- Excellent communication skills capable of conveying complex technical topics to varied audiences.
- Ability to build strong, collaborative partnerships across organizational leaders.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Economics, or Financial related field.
- Knowledge of IT architecture methodologies such as TOGAF, ArchiMate; experience with modeling, governance standards, and agile work environments.
