Your Role and Work Environment

We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Data Analyst to join our Conversion and Underwriting Team of Home & Protection Tribe. You are a true business data analytics expert who works closely with stakeholders across the Mortgages Process. Maximizing conversion and customer satisfaction is your priority, identifying opportunities to offer clients a simple and transparent mortgage process with ING.

Responsibilities

• Support the analytical needs of the area through descriptive analysis and diagnosis, generating insights and recommendations that support better decision-making leading to greater commercial results.
• Analyze product trends to increase sales conversion, reduce product attrition, etc.
• Support and advise business on reporting needs and other analytical requirements, communicating key findings to various stakeholders.
• Participate in the Data Fluency Program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, economics, or other analytic-focused degree.
• Full proficiency in SAS, SQL, and Excel (knowledge of R or Python is appreciated).
• At least 3-4 years experience in a comparable role, transforming data to extract key business insights using statistical/analytical concepts.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with different parts of the organization.
• Ability to view challenges from different perspectives and develop practical original solutions.
• Willingness and ability to learn and improve technical and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-centric approach.
• Excellent organizational skills with a structured working style.
• Fluent English appreciated.

Valued skills:

• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Microstrategy and statistical modeling techniques.
• Familiarity with data visualization in PowerPoint.
• Advanced skills in creating automated reports in Excel.
