Financial Markets Client Control (FMCC) is a department within Financial Markets (FM) Business Services (part of ING Wholesale Banking). The department consists of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Amsterdam and two execution locations in ING Hubs Bratislava and Manila that provide services to 30 countries worldwide. FMCC plays a major role in communication and became one of INGβs central contact points for FM Sales, Global Treasury, and Front Office desks.
The aim of these services is to ensure control throughout the client and counterparty life cycle (from on-boarding to exit and all processes in between) for FM, Group Treasury (GT), and ECM/DCM. FMCC works using INGβs One Agile Way Of Working principles.
Responsibilities
- Maintain contact with Financial Market and Global Treasury Front Office desks (Sales and/or Traders) via email and MS Teams channels and support income booking process for clients actively trading on Financial Markets.
- Act as the primary contact for global front office locations, Sales locations, ING Hubs locations, front office system support teams, IT developers, and business management.
- Hold responsibility for correct income booking process and income reporting by maintaining and supporting Saturn and Client PnL application and BI reporting tools.
- Cooperate with business and IT stakeholders and keep them informed about the progress of their requests.
- Participate in FM-related projects focused on innovations and changes in a dynamic environment.
- Assist Sales and Front Office desks, identify needs, detect potential technical and/or functional issues in income reporting; diagnose, prioritize, advise, and resolve cases.
- Execute daily operational tasks related to client income reporting processes to ensure correct product and location income reporting.
- Support, deliver and execute Saturn and ClientPnL tooling systems support, change and development epics/stories.
- Serve as a single point of contact for FMCC PMs/teams and business stakeholders regarding tooling support and topics.
- Be proactive in addressing issues and removing impediments; collect and address stakeholder feedback for continuous service improvement.
- Provide feedback to system owners and IT on tooling design, functionality, and performance and identify improvements for development.
- When accepting changes or new processes: set clear priorities with the FMCC MDT lead, estimate change impact (capacity and knowledge), capture and maintain stories in AZURE backlog, and involve required stakeholders with epic and system owners.
Requirements
- Skilled in MS Excel and BI solutions (Power BI / BI reporting tools).
- Experience communicating with clients and working in an international environment.
- Previous experience with Front Office (FO) support or Financial Markets product knowledge.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Presentation skills and ability to express information appropriate to different audience levels.
- Proactive, hands-on mentality, client-centric mindset and strong communication skills.
- Good team player with data-driven decision-making and analytical skills; ability to work at a high pace and cooperate with people at different levels.
- Familiarity with tooling/backlog processes (stories in AZURE backlog) and collaboration with IT developers and system owners.
