We’re looking for a Data Insights and Advisory Lead to join our Business Banking team and drive data excellence across our lending and deposit portfolios.

As a leader in data and insights, you’ll shape and execute strategies to leverage data, reporting and analysis to fuel growth, enhance decision-making, and drive business performance. You’ll collaborate across business units to improve data governance & quality, undertake analytics, and utilise innovative sources and tools to empower business leaders with actionable insights and future-ready solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver a data strategy aligned with Business Banking objectives
  • Provide insights and reporting to support business growth and performance optimisation
  • Lead ad hoc analysis activities to support strategic initiatives including development of new products, channels and segments
  • Champion data-driven decision-making across cross-functional teams
  • Lead data governance, quality, and stewardship initiatives
  • Support change initiatives with data analysis and impact assessments
  • Mentor and uplift data capability across the organisation

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data strategy, governance, and analytics within financial services
  • Strong consulting background with a commercial mindset
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights and passion for storytelling through data
  • Skilled in stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
  • Comfortable in agile environments with competing priorities
  • Passionate about mentoring and building data capability
