Responsibilities

  • Manage and mentor an engineering team building and maintaining MetaMask extension core features.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management and engineering leads to prioritize product roadmaps.
  • Foster innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team.
  • Drive scalable, maintainable, and high-quality technical solutions.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
  • Ensure integration and collaboration across the MetaMask ecosystem.
  • Define and track KPIs to measure team success and impact.
  • Communicate plans, progress, and results to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 4+ years software engineering experience.
  • 2+ years software engineering management experience, including hiring.
  • Agile software engineering experience.
  • Strong engineering skills: JavaScript, TypeScript, Web development, Node.js, React, Git, and GitHub.
  • Experience improving developer experience and understanding customer needs.
  • Experience managing technical debt and application re-architecture.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and tools like JIRA, Notion, Figma, GitHub, MixPanel, Looker Studio.
  • Team player, inclusive leader, open to feedback and transparent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
