The Chapter Lead acts as the key link between developers and the Chapter Area Lead, providing day-to-day coaching, primarily focusing on technical leadership with some managerial responsibilities (up to 15 FTE). This role blends coaching with active development work and setting technical standards.
Responsibilities
- Act as an active block member handling daily backlog tasks.
- Define professional standards, methodologies, and technical standards within the chapter.
- Facilitate interaction and knowledge sharing within the chapter and across peer chapters.
- Serve as a thought leader, guiding and inspiring chapter members.
- Lead performance evaluations, coaching on both technical and soft skills.
- Talent development and career path support for chapter members.
- Define best practices in ways of working.
- Engage in strategic workforce planning and perform hiring and HR tasks.

Profile
- Proven leadership experience including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong data engineering background: data warehousing, ETL, and big data technologies.
- Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
- Understanding of financial services and trends in investing/securities transactions.
