The Chapter Lead acts as the key link between developers and the Chapter Area Lead, providing day-to-day coaching, primarily focusing on technical leadership with some managerial responsibilities (up to 15 FTE). This role blends coaching with active development work and setting technical standards.

Responsibilities

  • Act as an active block member handling daily backlog tasks.
  • Define professional standards, methodologies, and technical standards within the chapter.
  • Facilitate interaction and knowledge sharing within the chapter and across peer chapters.
  • Serve as a thought leader, guiding and inspiring chapter members.
  • Lead performance evaluations, coaching on both technical and soft skills.
  • Talent development and career path support for chapter members.
  • Define best practices in ways of working.
  • Engage in strategic workforce planning and perform hiring and HR tasks.

Profile

  • Proven leadership experience including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong data engineering background: data warehousing, ETL, and big data technologies.
  • Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Understanding of financial services and trends in investing/securities transactions.

  • Gross monthly salary €5,847 - €8,353 based on a 36-hour work week including vacation pay and benefit budget.
