Join Collibra’s Field Security team to work within the growing Information Security organization. Field Security blends technical acuity, security evangelism, and open communication to close out prospect and customer concerns, queries, and deals quickly. You will engage externally with small, large, and enterprise customers to promote Collibra’s information and cybersecurity posture and act as the champion for the customer’s voice to drive innovation and improved security in Collibra’s products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with customer security teams to build trust and manage concerns and objections.
  • Complete and contribute to customer questionnaires and security questions as needed.
  • Engage directly with customers on calls, workshops, or in-person meetings.
  • Support internal Collibra teams on customer matters relating to information or cybersecurity.
  • Work with Collibra Legal to ensure Collibra is protected regarding information and cybersecurity contract terms.
  • Partner with Product Management to support customer product security requests.
  • Identify and develop initiatives to improve Collibra’s messaging and transparency on security topics.
  • Assist in the build-out, management, and enhancement of the Collibra Trust site and other knowledge/enablement resources.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in information and cybersecurity.
  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales support, preferably in an information and cybersecurity context.
  • Ability to speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with contract reviews and redlining related to security terms and conditions.
  • Experience with SaaS vendors and familiarity with cloud deployment models and patterns.
  • Experience or familiarity with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Familiarity with technologies and concepts such as Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Java, and web application implementation patterns.
  • Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, and Agile practices.
  • Understanding of industry security and compliance standards/frameworks (e.g., ISO 27000 series, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, OWASP, CIS, CSA, SOC/ISAE 3402).
  • Familiarity with knowledge management practices and online productivity applications (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related working experience is required.
  • Must have authorization to work in Raleigh, North Carolina (US).
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; strong verbal and written communication skills.

Measures of success

  • First month: Able to speak to Collibra’s products, services, and applicable security controls.
  • Third month: Able to complete customer queries and questionnaires, interact with clients, and run detailed sessions around Collibra’s security program.
  • Sixth month: Identify and develop initiatives, content, and collateral to enhance Collibra’s customer messaging; liaise and collaborate effectively with internal teams to resolve customer security asks and concerns.

Compensation

  • Base salary range: $116,000 - $145,000 per year.
  • This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation.
  • Salary offers are based on experience, skills, and location.
  • In addition to base salary, Collibra offers equity ownership, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401(k) plans, and more.
