Collibra is hiring for the Field Security team within the Information Security organization. This role blends technical acuity, security evangelism, and open communication to address prospect and customer concerns, questions, and deals. You will engage externally with small, large, and enterprise customers to promote Collibra’s information and cybersecurity posture, act as the customer’s voice to drive product and security improvements, and support internal teams on security-related customer matters.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customer security teams to build trust and manage concerns and objections.
- Complete and contribute to customer security questionnaires and ad-hoc questions.
- Engage directly with customers via calls, workshops, and in-person meetings.
- Collaborate with and support other internal Collibra teams on customer matters relating to information or cybersecurity.
- Work with Legal to ensure Collibra is protected regarding information and cybersecurity contract terms.
- Partner with Product Management to support customer product security requests.
- Identify and develop initiatives to improve Collibra’s messaging and transparency on security topics.
- Assist in the buildout, management, and enhancement of the Collibra Trust site and other knowledge/enablement resources.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in information security and cybersecurity.
- 3+ years of experience in pre-sales support, preferably in an information and cybersecurity context.
- Ability to speak to both technical and non-technical audiences; strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in contract reviews and redlining related to information and cybersecurity terms.
- Experience with a SaaS vendor and familiarity with cloud deployment models and patterns.
- Experience or familiarity with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with technologies and concepts including Docker, Kubernetes, Microservices, Java, and web application implementation patterns.
- Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, and Agile practices.
- Understanding of industry security and compliance standards and frameworks, e.g., ISO 27000 series, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, OWASP, CIS, CSA, SOC (ISAE 3402).
- Familiar with basic knowledge management practices and online productivity tools (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience is required.
- Must have work authorization to work in Raleigh, United States.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.

Measures of Success
- Within 1 month: Able to speak to Collibra’s products, services, and applicable security controls.
- By 3 months: Able to complete customer queries and questionnaires and run detailed sessions on Collibra’s security program.
- By 6 months: Identify and develop initiatives and collateral that enhance Collibra’s messaging; liaise effectively with internal teams to resolve customer security asks.
Compensation
- Standard base salary range: $116,000 - $145,000 per year.
- This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation.
- In addition to base salary: equity ownership, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401(k) plans, and more.
Location & Office Policy
- Hybrid role based in Collibra’s Raleigh, North Carolina office. The hybrid model requires working from the office at least two days each week.
